Burnley Leisure has been shortlisted in the UK’s biggest fitness awards and is in the running for a prestigious national award, beating off strong competition to make the finals.
The St Peter’s Leisure Centre has been shortlisted in Local Authority/Leisure Trust Gym of the Year and Group Exercise of the Year categories at the National Fitness Awards, an annual event which recognises excellence and achievement in gyms throughout the country.
The centre now goes through to the next stage of the judging process where they will be out to impress by showcasing first-hand the great work going on at Burnley Leisure. The winners will be selected at a glittering awards ceremony on 29th November at The Athena in Leicester.
Burnley Leisure’s Area Manager Scott Bryce said “We are immensely proud to again be shortlisted for the National Fitness Awards, being nominated for two awards is the icing on the cake and demonstrates recognition for the hard work and dedication that all the team at Burnley Leisure complete.
We strive to demonstrate continuous improvement in all our fitness initiatives and with our recent exciting launch of Les Mills group exercise classes are especially pleased to be shortlisted in this category. We are really looking forward to the judging panels visit and showcasing what we offer in all areas of health and fitness”.
