In the Senior Division of the Ribblesdale League, Settle won by eight wickets at the Arbories on Saturday. Padiham were dismissed for just 105. Settle professional Ashen Silva top scored with 62 not out. Read scored 217 for 7 at Ribchester Road. Will Wrathall top scored with 88. In reply Salesbury were bowled out for 128. Jamie Woodall took four wickets.

In the Lancashire League, Lowerhouse won by seven wickets at Church under the Duckworth/Lewis system. Church professional Qaasim Adams got a century and when the rain came Lowerhouse were ahead on run rate at 102 for 3. Burnley lost at home to Ramsbottom by 38 runs. Defending champions Walsden are top again after a win over Clitheroe.

In Division Two, Colne’s incredible season continues. Departing professional James Price hit 128 out of a total of 186. In reply Rishton were bowled out for 133. Enfield beat Nelson by 20 runs in a low scoring game at Seedhill. Chasing 111 to win they were bowled out for just 90.
